Last July 16, 2025, the Department of the Interior and Local Government – National Capital Region (DILG-NCR) conducted a Learning Visit to DILG Rehiyon Dose, fostering a meaningful exchange of best practices and innovations in internal operations, knowledge management, local governance, and Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives.

The visit served as a strategic platform for cross-regional collaboration, aimed at strengthening internal systems, enhancing service delivery, and replicating effective public administration mechanisms. Emphasis was given to Rehiyon Dose’s pioneering programs in knowledge management and employees’ welfare, including wellness-centered initiatives that promote organizational efficiency and staff well-being. Conversely, DILG-NCR shared its own GAD milestones, gender-related policies, and successful organizational practices that promote inclusive and responsive governance.

Through these engagements, the Learning Visit highlighted the critical role of inter-regional partnerships in cultivating adaptive, inclusive, and resilient governance. Both offices also expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the opportunity to learn from one another, acknowledging the significance of collaborative learning in enhancing institutional performance. The visit reaffirmed their shared commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence in public service.
